Making a Beadwork Bracelet

To make a stringed bead bracelet is one of the first things that you may want to do. While the process of making a beads bracelet is extremely easy, the results are extremely gratifying. All that you need in order to make a beaded bracelet includes beading wire, French wire or bullion and the beads of your choice. Try and choose two beads of varying size with one as the main bead. This will help you create a pattern when you are beading. One great combination is Dalmatian jasper beads along with crystals and jump rings to give it a nice finish. You may also need crimping pliers and wire cutters for the work.

The first thing that you need to decide is the length of your bracelet. Add about 6 inches to the circumference that you are looking for at the end. Decide on the pattern that you want to make in the bracelet. If you are unsure of this option, you may want to put the beads in a string to see how they look before you start the process formally. It is a good idea to keep the beads separated and create the pattern beforehand so that it becomes easier when you are actually putting the beads in the wire.

Take the beading wire and make the bead stopper. This is basically a loose knot that you make in the beading wire to keep the beads from falling off. String all the beads into the wire based on the pattern that you have selected. You can use the bullion wire to create the clasp or the lock for your beaded bracelet too.
